Privacy and support for the bundled Chrome extension edition.
Last updated: 4 October 2026 · Version 0.7.0KOREA CHEF is a Korean cooking and culture game. Cooking progress, earned game credits, cosmetics, preferences, recipe favorites and fictional playthrough reactions are saved locally in your browser profile. Credits are earned through play, have no cash value and cannot be purchased with money.
This edition has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking, real visit-photo uploads or online restaurant rankings. It does not read your browsing history, other websites, contacts or personal files. It does not send your game progress to the developer. The optional real-star photo quiz from the separate website edition is not included.
Game code, artwork, recipes, music and character speech files are bundled with the extension. Character voices are AI-generated. No speech-generation service is called while you play. Device speech services are disabled in this edition. If a bundled recording is unavailable, captions remain available.
Progress and preferences stay in the browser profile where you installed the extension. The game's save tools let you export a local backup or import a file you select. These files may contain progress and settings, so share them only with people you choose. Website progress and extension progress use separate storage; the extension does not silently access the website's saves.
Reset tools explain their effect before applying it. Recovery backups and conflict handling can preserve prior local progress. Uninstalling the extension removes its extension storage; separately exported files remain wherever you saved them. The developer does not keep a remote copy of your game save.
Some recipe, cultural and place references open external websites when you choose them. Those sites receive ordinary browser requests and have their own privacy policies. Opening a reference does not send your game save. No external reference page is required for the cooking game to run.
When you open the public policy/support webpage, its hosting provider receives ordinary web-request information such as your IP address, browser information and requested page, and may keep operational or security logs under its own policies. This is separate from the extension’s local game storage. This page includes no analytics or advertising scripts.
Email kyuhyi81@gmail.com for help. If you send an email, the recipient and email provider receive the information you include. Do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information. Include only the game version and a description of the problem; a save file is optional.
This policy applies to the bundled Chrome extension. A separate private website may offer different online features under its own disclosures. Material changes to extension data practices will be disclosed with an updated policy and extension listing. This page does not promise Chrome Web Store approval or imply affiliation with Google, restaurants, performers or other recipe publishers.
